KEEPER OF THE LORE

Restoring what was never meant to be lost.

I work as a Priestess of Avalon, rooted in Goddess traditions that existed long before women were shamed, silenced, or softened to fit patriarchal systems.

The Lore is not a collection of pretty stories. It’s accumulated knowledge: warnings, instructions, and insights passed down through myth, ritual, and land-based tradition.

Many ancient stories centred women as powerful, complex, and essential - not passive, pure or dangerous. Over time those stories were rewritten, diluted, or moralised often to make female power more manageable or less threatening.

When myth is stripped of context, it loses its power.

When Goddess is reduced to symbol,
she stops teaching us anything useful.

My role as a priestess is to restore meaning & help people relearn how to listen.

Re-Learning The Lore

it’s not about rebellion for its own sake

It’s about recognising where shame, fear and repetition were introduced

& choosing not to carry them forward

Priestess of Avalon

The Priestess of Avalon tradition is a living lineage rooted in the land, seasons, and ancestral Goddess traditions of the British Isles.

Founded and developed through the work of Kathy Jones, in connection with the Glastonbury Goddess Temple and an international network of temples and practitioners.

This tradition works with:

  • the Wheel of Avalon

  • seasonal cycles

  • land-based ritual

  • personal and collective healing

  • service to community

Training is structured, accountable, and ongoing.

This is not self-appointed spirituality.

A core role of priestess work has always been holding people through transition — especially the moments modern life often rushes past or avoids.

I am trained and working towards expanded practice in:

  • weddings and commitment ceremonies

  • funerals and memorials

  • grief and transition support

Rites of passage, death work, and ceremony

I am currently training as a death doula, bringing together priestess work, mythic understanding, and my professional background in healthcare and end-of-life care.

This work is about advocacy, presence, and dignity.
